Hello and welcome to this space dedicated to knowledge, awareness, change, and rebirth.

I’m Marina, a survivor of psychological violence and emotional abuse. I chose to introduce myself similarly to individuals attending meetings focused on addiction recovery, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, or those dealing with psychological trauma. Recognizing the problem and becoming aware of our experiences are crucial first steps toward healing and rebirth.

I’m Marina, and through this website, I aim to provide you with accurate information to guide you toward awareness.

Psychological abuse, particularly within marital relationships, is seldom discussed openly. It remains a taboo topic until it escalates into physical violence. Believe me, the path from verbal threats to physical assault is shorter than one might think.

While legal systems classify both forms of violence similarly, psychological violence is rarely addressed in court due to the difficulty of providing concrete evidence. Consequently, many individuals choose not to discuss it.

Often, victims fail to fully comprehend the severity of their situation, leaving them isolated, mistreated, and deprived of serenity, dignity, affection, and various forms of security (emotional, physical, social, and economic…).

Here, you will find informative posts on psychological abuse, practical tips on recognizing and dealing with psychological abuse, interviews, personal testimonies, and programs for personal growth and development that will aid you in overcoming toxic and abusive relationships.

Additionally, I will share my story and years-long experience with a pathological abuser and manipulator, in the hope that it will inspire the courage you seek if you find yourself entangled in a toxic relationship.

Above all, be the heroine of your own life, not the victim.
